Description
Way back in 1985, a pilgrimage was made. Commencing in Wolsingham, a small band of underage Heavy Metal Heroes donned their bike jackets, cut off denims, black and white striped Jesters and trudged their respective white baseball boots to Crook, to hop on the bus to Newcastle. Upon arrival, Metal was heard emanating from the loudest Jukebox in the world. This Jukebox was situated over the road from the bus station in the Haymarket Pub and like a demonic pied piper it beckoned us in. We found a small, yet finite slice of heaven that day.
